I have downloaded the google blogger widget and am writing my next blog using it.  I hope it works.

The thoughts to day are about the spiritual side of life and how our actions and sometime inactions have a knock on effect to those around us.

That sharp word, or harsh comment can cement itself in the recipients mind and hurt.  These words cannot be taken back.  Try putting toothpaste back into a squeezed tube?

So, when we speak, speak from the heart but from love to your fellow man.  You may dislike them but they are human beings and have feelings too.

One of the 10 commandments, love your neighbour as you love yourself.  Next time you are wound up and want to 'bite' back, don't react in a way you wouldn't want to receive, but how you would want to be talked to.  Sometimes, just sometimes, by setting the example, people follow it.

Charity mate - quite literally

I am currently watching Children in Need and we are already at over 10 million pounds.

My instant reaction - what credit crunch?

It also made me think that the UK has approximately 60 million people living in it.  So if everyone gave just £1 to a different charity every day, thats £365 pounds per person per year multiplied by 60 million.

That means each year, the UK could raise in excess of 20 BILLION pounds without it really hitting any individual pockets.

The wonderful thing about giving from your heart is that it is always paid back to you in ways far better than money.

So if you are in a financial position to give away a pound a day, please do so.  The impact you could make is perhaps more than you think.
